Emilie Ruecker 4/14/15

Today we went for a walk at Emilie Ruecker Audobon wildlife refuge. These are some pictures I took along with some questions we'll be trying to answer.

What kind of evergreen is this? Can we use it to make pine needle tea?

Skunk Cabbage - What is it used for?

Little tiny crabs live in these holes. We didn't get to see them today but we've seen them before. What are they called?
 Mushrooms growing on a tree.
Snake! What kind of snake is it?
Sign showing the water birds in the area. We didn't see any except seagulls.

I think this is called cat tail? Need to check Wildcraft game for name and what it is used for.
What kind of plant / berry?
 What kind of tree?
 First violets of the season!
What kind of clouds are these?
